Last week I had asked you to name this.While all those who left comments were right in naming it as Goose berry, the correct answer is in the type of gooseberry that it is. It is called Arai Nellikkai, [in Tamil] which is smaller than the Cape Gooseberry and just as sour..

This is the tree in our back yard and we had a bumper crop this year,
