PJ's Mystery Files # 4

Hi Friends,

I have another mystery for you to solve...

This tree is in my neighbors house and until a few years back I did not know about it. I just assumed it to be the usual tree planted for shade until I read an article about this wonder tree's medical property and a few days later saw a dish made with these leaves in a cookery show on TV, which I will share after unraveling the mystery next week....

Can you name the plant / tree that this leaf belongs to....

Here are some clues to help you...

  •  It is a large shrub or sometimes can even grow to 4-7 meters in height. It rarely flowers.
  • It is used as a cattle feed.
  • This is a medicinal plant that is also used in cookery.
  • It is helpful in people suffering from arthritis.

I think the final clue will give away the answer......

As usual, leave a comment and you can also share the regional names and recipes.I will publish the comments and unravel the mystery next week.

Until then keep guessing....
